The food was very reasonably priced. Loved the quick service. All of my modifications were followed. I will absolutely be going again. I got the chopped steak came with a baked potato and salad for under 13 bucks. Completely worth it.
Place is super delicious! I suggest ordering the Burger 1/2 which is extremely juicy and the fries oh so good!
Charco Broiler is by far a hidden gem here in Dallas! Owners are always very nice and sweet! Their steaks and salads are always fresh! On top of that you get a loaded baked potato that is amazing! The prices are very affordable but if your looking for a steal I recommend coming Wednesday you get a 6 oz steak, salad, baked potato and toast for only 7.99!
I decided to eat a late lunch here after a trip to the State Fair on Senior Day. Being the tightwad that I an I managed to make it out of the fair for $5. Free admission. Three of the five dollars was for my Dart fare. The machine gave me back two Susan B Anthony dollars which I donated to the house made out of the giant redwood tree. Not to be missed. But maybe that's just me. Five bucks, honest. Anyway, a day of looking at cars, standing in awe of Big Tex and enjoying the pig races works up a appetite so I decided that a steak was in order. Enter Charco Broiler on my way home. I ordered the cheapest steak (of course) medium rare. It came with self serve salad, a large baked potato swimming in oleo and Texas Toast. It came out quickly and perfectly cooked. The place was much cleaner than I remembered. No sticky table top. Nice folks. Fresh self serve salad with diced tomatoes. Serve yourself drinks. All for about eleven bucks and change. My idea of a great day.
Visit #2- nasty carpet is gone. Nice wood laminar floors are attractive and clean. Wednesday special Sirloin baked potato and salad is a deal at $7.00. Tasty! Salad bare is fresh. Good burger and onion rings too.
